Esther Romero González
Predoctoral Researcher FPU (Contract from Science, Innovation and University Ministry of Spain for University Teacher Training) at Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), Faculty of Political Science and Sociology. She holds a double degree in Sociology, International Relations and Development Expert and a Master’s degree in Research Methodology in Social Science, both obtained at the Complutense University of Madrid. She completed a master’s internship at the European project “Co-creating Inclusive Intersectional Democratic Spaces Across Europe” (CCINDLE). In her thesis she analyses the role of masculinities in the context of the feminist and antifeminist political projects. She has presented her work at several conferences, including the XV Spanish Congress of Sociology (FES), the II International Congress of Masculinities and Equality (CISMASCIGUAL II), the I Congress of Young Researchers in Sociology of Sexualities (FES), and the V Workshop of Social Research for Students (UCM). She is a member of the Gender and Politics Researcher Group (GEYPO). Her research interests include masculinities, feminist and antifeminist political projects and qualitative social research.
